Beaches San Francisco include Ocean, Baker, China and Aquatic Beaches which are all fun things to do in San Francisco. I love to go to the beach in San Francisco – even though most people would never put “San Francisco” and “beaches” together.
Below is a list of these San Francisco beaches and where they are located.
Location: Ocean Beach is located at the far west end of San Francisco. Go to the end of Geary Boulevard and go left.
This beach has bathrooms, Seal Rock where you can watch the sea lions and allows bonfires on the beach.

Baker Beach
Location: Baker Beach is located on the western side of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a road off Lincoln Boulevard that leads down to the beach. This is the favorite beach of locals and a well known nudist spot. I have done a picnic here because they have picnic tables, grills, restrooms and drinking water.

Aquatic Beach
Location: Aquatic Beach is located at the end of Jefferson Street where it meets up with Hyde Street. It’s basically between Fort Mason, Ghiradelli Square and Fishermen’s Wharf. It’s a small ¼ mile long beach filled with locals and inline skaters, cyclists and dog walkers. It’s a busy place but convenient if you don’t have a lot of time to visit the other beaches San Francisco.
Whether it's Aquatic, Baker, Ocean or China Beach I don't care - I'm just a true lover of San Francisco beaches. After all - remember that "California Is For Lovers!"
