San Francisco Restaurant Review

The Slanted Door – Famous Vietnamese restaurant In San Francisco

The Ferry Building San Francisco is the home of The Slanted Door - one of the more famous eating establishments - read my summary of what others have said in the San Francisco restaurant review below. It’s well known by all San Franciscans and a place you should visit!

The Slanted Door opened in 1995 by Chef-Owner Charles Phan. It has changed locations and along the way seems to have lost some of it’s warmth. The service is said to be no-so-stellar and they often are rude to customers but one thing that you can’t argue is that the food is amazing.

Some of the options are: spring rolls, cellophane noodles with crab, caramelized shrimp and crème brulee. The most raved about dish is the Shaking Beef. Honestly – I cannot say I have eaten here yet but it is #1 on my list.

It is supposed to be pricey ($31-$60) for what you get but if you are on vacation I recommend you stop in for a meal at this well renowned San Francisco restaurant.
