I found the hotel rooms to be clean and simple. The furniture is new and in good repair. There weren't a lot of frills but who cares when you have so many fun San Francisco things to do waiting right outside your door!

The bathrooms were clean and sparkly. Sometimes budget hotels have that grime and gunk that builds up around the baseboards and floor but I didn't find any of that.

If you look closely at this picture you can look past the windows and see the Chinatown shops right across the street.
Tip: if you need to bring back souvenirs all you have to do is go outside and visit one of the stores to find souvenirs.

The hotel desk can sell you tours or give you suggestions on where to find a tour. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They were very busy but that just shows the popularity of the place.

I got a kick out of this sign in the elevator. I didn't ask - or maybe didn't want to know - how many times people get stuck in the elevator. I guess the big question is, "Is that four people with or without luggage when it gets stuck?"
