The Fog City diner is an upscale diner in the middle of The Embarcadero that has some tweaked American diner food made fancy and tastier with a higher price. I'm not sure how else to describe this restaurant.
Read my review to find out what the Ghiradelli Peanut Butter cup dessert is all about - yummmmmeeeeeee!!

I ate at this restaurant a few years ago and it is also along The Embarcadero. It has a view of the San Francisco Bay. Actually somebody from my husband's company is part owner of the restaurant and his company treated us to lunch a while ago.
My kids didn't like the food at all and I found the portions to be tasty but small. It has a great ambience and wonderful views.

This little San Francisco restaurant is a great place to stop before a Giant's Game at AT&T Park which is not too far away. It was featured on Anthony bourdain's show. The Friday special is fish and chips and are quite tasty. Good prices, no lettuce and tomato on hamburgers - beware!

This is my personal all time favorite place for fish and seafood. They literally have an unloading dock just steps from their kitchen. They have their own fishing boats and the food is just fresh and amazingly incredible. Yes it's pricey but worth the splurge by far!

I honestly haven't eaten here yet but it is on my list. It has been around for 35 years and needs to undergo a renovation. It is one of the city's famous waterfront view restaurants and has a great view of the Bay Bridge. They serve seafood, steak, and pasta. As soon as I eat here I will let you know what I think. Most visitors say food is overpriced and not phenomenal.

The Franciscan was quoted by Sunset Magazine as "hands down the best food you'll find on Fisherman's Wharf." The restaurant has high ceilings, twenty foot windows and great views of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz. It was built in the 1950's but recently underwent remodeling. Their specialties are whole roasted dungeness crab, crab cakes and steamed mussels.
