The St. Regis Hotel San Francisco has sleek, straight sexy lines any way you look at it. I didn't see any curvy lines or anything traditional at all. Modern and contemporary is how you would describe this San Francisco California hotel.
Front Desk
This is a 5 Star hotel and prides itself in fabulous service. It's said to be hipper than the other hotels in the St. Regis chain but the decor is still chic and modern while remaining conservative.
Fabulous Bar
The bar and restaurant have a 16 foot long two-sided open fireplace. A great place to stop by and relax after a long day of San Francisco attractions.
Lobby
From the lobby you can see the Yerba Buena Gardens right across the street. Also close by is the Metreon - a mall where you can take ina movie and go shopping after. Just a block away is the Moscone Convention Center.
Lounge Area
Very chic and hip are the public areas in this hotel. I don't particularly care for modern and contemporary lines but I liked the decor in the St. Regis.
The 50-Foot Lap Pool
Remedy is the 9,000 square foot spa found on two levels with nine treatment rooms. In the sparkling clean dressing area you will find a Jacuzzi and sauna. The lap pool is so inviting I just wanted to dive in! This is a great place to unwind from the stresses of the day.
Typical Room
Take note of the fainting sofa - doesn't it just call out to you? The rooms have Bose sound systems and direct phone lines. Also I found a remote that raises the window shades, controls the entertainments systems and will give you the weather and other electronic info all at the touch of a button!
Ame Restaurant
The Ame restaurant is run by Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani who is the team behind the famed Terra Restaurant in St. Helena. The food here is New American cuisine and includes a sashimi bar and award-winning wines.
