Famous Inmate - Birdman Of Alcatraz
The Birdman of Alcatraz was a famous prisoner they made a movie about with the same name.
His name was Robert Stroud and the truth is he never worked with birds while he was imprisoned at Alcatraz.

There is only one company that is officially allowed to let you off on Alcatraz island.
That is Alcatraz Cruises. They are the official concessionaire for the National Park Service for Alcatraz.
