Just entering the door to this San Francisco lodging found South of Market in San Francisco California made me feel a little cooler. There is techno beat music pulsing throughout the lobbies and some very hip decor. Of all the hotels in San Francisco Ca this one has just got to be the coolest. Let me tell you why!

The W

It has one of the top four bars in San Francisco. It's the W Cafe and has floor to ceiling blue velvet draperies, terrazzo floors of black and white and a hot sound system. It's one of those places Sharon Stone and Kanye West and other celebs hang out regularly.

Welcome To the W!

I just felt younger and energized after walking through the lobby! I'm not sure this is the place I would want to stay if I was feeling anti-social or just needed a quiet get-a-away weekend. But if I was single, young and upwardly mobile this is the place I would live at. It's that kind of a hotel.

Typically during the week the hotel caters to businesspeople but on the weekends you will find families and it becomes kid and pet-friendly.
