Westin Hotel San Francisco, a San Francisco California hotel and hotel and motel San Francisco information. If you are trying to choose from the many hotels in San Francisco Ca let me help you out a little here.
Tip: There are three Westin hotels in San Francisco. One is located near the airport, one is the Westin St. Francis Hotel and the third one is the one on Market Street I am reviewing on this page.
If you are looking for a hotel in San Francisco Ca the Westin is great choice. It is one of the downtown San Francisco hotels with a great location and clean rooms.

The Westin San Francisco is close to many San Francisco attractions such as:

The hotel is close to Market Street which is one of the main downtown thoroughfares. It is a very busy area filled with traffic and people. On Market Street you can find streetcars that will take to Fisherman's Wharf or BART that will take you to the San Francisco Airport or the East Bay. You can also find taxis and muni buses too just a short distance from the hotel.

The hotel was The Argent Hotel before. The marble has inlaid marble and is rather large. The hotel recently underwent some remodeling and increased its meeting space and added an outdoor dining area and lounge space with a fire pit.

The rooms were recently renovated and they added the Westin's famous Heavenly Beds.
I have slept in the Heavenly beds found at The Westin hotel chain and I can tell you the name fits! After a full day of San Francisco attractions I think there is nothing more amazing than sleeping on an incredible bed.
They advertise a Heavenly shower and bath. I'm not sure if these are new additions but if they are anything like the beds watch out because you just may stay in the shower all day!
Tip: if you want a room with a view ask for floors 16-34 which have rooms of Yerba Buena Gardens, the city, bay, and the hills further on.

After eating all the fantastic food at San Francisco restaurants I like to work out in the hotel gym. You might want to choose a hotel with a gym just in case you get that exercise urge and can't make it go away.

The Ducca Restaurant is part of the Westin Hotel San Francisco and is just off the lobby. I haven't eaten here personally (I can't eat at EVERY SF restaurant....) but they serve Italian food and others have given it good reviews.

The Westin Hotel San Francisco has a lot of corporate and convention business. It has a great location for San Francisco lodging.
Tip: This hotel is probably better for business travelers than families because they don't serve breakfast and they don't have a pool. If you are bringing the kiddos along you might to choose from one of the other downtown San Francisco hotels.
The Westin San Francisco is one of the downtown San Francisco hotels I recommend because of its great location and clean rooms. Those are two very important things when looking for either a hotel and motel in San Francisco or just a place to rest your head.
